The Insurance Professionals of Santa Barbara are sponsoring three two-credit continuing education seminars at the Ogilvy-Hill Insurance Conference Room on Monday, April 7, 2003. The address is 418 Chapala Street, between Haley & Gutierrez in Santa Barbara. Fred Fisher, president of E.L.M. Insurance Brokers, a leader in professional liability products for insurance agents in California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Kansas and Wyoming will be the instructor.

3:00 – 5:00 p.m. - "Employment Practices Liability"

Frederick J. Fisher, J.D., President of E.L.M. has been actively involved in the professional liability arena for almost 30 years. In addition to experience in underwriting, adjustment, investigation and resolution of Professional Liability claims, he has lectured extensively and has authored over 50 articles in trade journals and periodicals. He testifies regularly as an expert witness in cases dealing with the duties and obligations of professionals as well as on coverage and claims-made issues. He recently introduced a new website, www.e-insurebynet.com whereby agents/broker and consumers can complete a real time, on line request for a professional liability coverage, have the information forwarded to various markets who have an appetite for that particular risk and then receive an indication back – many times within the hour.
