The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors' (NAIFA) representative governing body, the National Council, elected new officers and seven trustees during NAIFA's 113th Annual Convention and Career Conference. Richard A. Koob, CLU, ChFC, AEP was elected president and will lead NAIFA as it begins the process of restructuring at all levels of its federation. The process will focus on NAIFA's core benefits of advocacy and best practices to best serve NAIFA members and the American public.
Joining Koob as NAIFA officers are Randy Kilgore, CLU, LUTCF, RHU, president-elect; C. Robert Brown, CLU, LUTCF, secretary; and Paul M. Smith Sr., CLU, treasurer. After serving his one-year term as president, Bob Nelson, CLU, LUTCF becomes immediate past president.
