Insurance Industry News from ProgramBusiness.com

Sneak PeakWe should have all of the pricing and agenda items posted by mid August on our new site, but here’s a sneak preview for 2009. Last year was another banner year for Peak. The main focus of last year’s meeting had to do with the proliferation of private equity money in the retail broker side of the business. We had three private equity firms all of whom are invested in the insurance industry sit on a panel and explaining their respective strategies.

In 2009 we will be focusing on the soft market and how and why this cycle differs from past cycles and what has to occur at the business level to ride out the storm. The meeting takes place in beautiful Jackson Hole, Wyoming from January 21-24, 2009. The location this year is The Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole.

For budgeting purposes, registration is $695.00 to $895.00 per person depending if you’re a company, wholesaler, agency or vendor. Also 50% refunds will be made for cancellations in writing by November 30, 2007. No refunds for cancellations after November 30, 2007.
