Insurance Industry News from ProgramBusiness.com

Testimonial PowerAs a marketing and communications consultant, I always stress the importance of testimonial-based marketing, promotion, presentations and advertising. Recently one of my insurance agency clients shared a letter that they had received from a new client. As you read the letter, focus on the power of this client’s words and how they can impact decisions by prospects. Note that this agency, graduates of the Work Comp Institute, utilize workers comp to open the door and round out the client portfolio. (I’ve deleted the name of the client and the name of the agency, but this is a real letter from a real client of a real agency. – Jack Burke

To Whom It May Concern:

We felt that we were paying too much for our commercial insurance and were referred to _________ Insurance by a friend and business associate who said they specialized in work comp and had substantially reduced his insurance premiums.

__________ Insurance took over our commercial insurance in May of 2008 and was able to immediately lower our premiums by over 50% on our work comp and roughly 25% on our General Liability and Autos while increasing our coverage limits.

_________ Insurance also pointed out mistakes on our work comp that had been made by our prior agent. They were able to make corrections going back 3 years and secure a refund of over $2,580. Our new agent also pointed out and corrected an open claim on our Experience Mod that, once correctly closed out and removed, has lowered our future work comp premiums by roughly another 20%.

It has been a great relief to know that we now have our company insurance under control so we can now focus on what we do best.
