Accreditation

State insurance departments are required to have adequate statutory and administrative authority to regulate an insurer's corporate and financial affairs, as well as the necessary resources to carry out that authority. Once deemed so, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) provides the state with accreditation. Please see National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).

AMS Goes 360ProgramBusiness Storefront Owner AMS Services http://www.programbusiness.com/tracking/sftracker.asp?SFid=188 has recently introduced AMS 360, a revolutionary new management system and the next generation of its market leading AfW product. Developed from the ground up, AMS 360 is designed to increase agency effectiveness with unmatched workflow tools, while delivering new functionality focused on business and customer relationship management. Designed around "centers" reflecting all aspects of the agency's operation from customer relationship and financial management to business and marketing management, AMS 360 provides a complete, 360 degree view of an agency's business.

Built entirely on Microsoft's .NET architectural platform, AMS 360 takes full advantage of the power, flexibility and interconnectivity of Web Services and the Internet. The system's .NET architecture ensures rapid deployment, improved integration, superior performance and unprecedented scalability. Truly a revolution in technology, agencies will be pleased by the fast software updates with little or no impact on users, fast and efficient data entry and the elimination of traditional software compatibility issues associated with typical software installation.

Beginning in the third quarter of 2003, AMS 360 will be offered as an application service provider (ASP) solution to new AMS customers. Existing AfW customers wishing to take advantage of the product's power and functionality can migrate to AMS 360 beginning in 2004. An in-house version of the product is also planned and can be expected in a future release.
